Brand New Coaching Vacancies
We're looking for a diverse range of enthusiastic coaches who are committed to inspiring young children to play the game of basketball.
Blueprint Basketball are excited to announce multiple coaching vacancies from immediate effect, which will allow us to establish a strong 'Mini-Basket' presence in Primary Schools and the community throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We require motivated and energetic coaches to drive the launch, growth and development of Blueprint Basketball across our region. Coaches are the heartbeat of our organisation and are the face of our organisation within our communities.
"..part of my motivation for launching this company was to create meaningful, enriching and paid opportunities for coaches.."
Matthew Harber - Director
As a former primary school sport coach himself, Director Matthew Harber commented on the roles by saying, "A big part of my motivation for launching this company was to create meaningful, enriching and paid opportunities for coaches and so this is the very first step."
He continued, "In my heart, I will always be a basketball coach, so I understand what these coaches go through and what support they will need to be successful in these roles. Our ambitions for Mini-Basket are not just about the children. It's about supporting and nurturing every key stakeholder in a child's life, so clearly the Coach is a huge part of that. We're committed to developing our coaches and helping them to become the best coach they can be."
Blueprint Basketball coaches will have the opportunity to learn and develop from delivering our very own age-specific resources across all of their sessions and activities. Creator of those programmes Matthew Harber said, "We created these programmes to help standardise and quality assure what our coaches deliver. The resources also consistently present the coaches with our coaching ideology and encourage them to engage the children through a games-based approach and learn various strategies to establish a fun, yet learning-centred environment."
We have one full time coaching role, in addition to a number of part-time roles available. Any coaches who would like to learn more about the roles can contact us for further information.
